Mastermind of Bali bombing killed in Jakarta

The man suspected of planning the Bali bombings in 2002 was killed Wednesday (March 10th) by police in Indonesia. Dulmatin, who was wanted by authorities, was killed during a police raid of a terrorist hideout in Jakarta, according to CNN. Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono announced the news during a press conference in Australia. The bombings killed 202 people. Dulmatin was a member of Jemaa Islamiya, an affiliate of al-Qaeda. A specialist in electronics, he trained in al-Qaeda camps in Afghanistan.
