An official from Jordan's State Security Court is banning all press coverage and commentary of a corruption case involving high-ranking officials at the country's oil refinery, AmmounNews reported Wednesday (March 10th). Any media outlet wishing to publish anything related to the case, which involves millions in bribery, should obtain the explicit permission of the attorney general at the court, Yousef Faouri. Two former executives of the refinery were detained along with a government official and a businessman. They were released on bail and the case was referred to the State Security Court.
