UAE to give Gulf and domestic companies equal treatment
06/02/2012The UAE cabinet has agreed to allow Gulf companies to open branches in the UAE and to treat them the same as national companies, UAE's al-Bayan reported Monday (February 6th).
The decision came after the Supreme Council of the GCC agreed to allow Gulf companies to open branches in any country and receive similar treatment to that country's national companies.
Saudi Arabia took a similar move in early November 2011.
