Many stars are getting ready to hold Valentine's Day concerts across the Arab world, and some will be recording special television shows to be aired on Arab TV stations to mark this special occasion.

Iraqi singer Shatha Hassoun will be giving a Valentine's Day concert with Rabeh Saker at the InterContinental Phoenicia hotel in Beirut on February 14th. She also released a new single titled "Ba' Hawaya," with lyrics by Janan and music by Marwan Khouri.

Pascal Mashaalani will be greeting her fans on the eve of Valentine's Day with a concert in the Tunisian city of Safaqis. The Lebanese star wrapped up several television shows such as "Natalo" on New TV and "Skout Hanghani," which will be aired on Egyptian television.

Her new video "Salemli Albak," directed by Layal Rajha, will air soon.

Carole Samaha will be giving a concert to mark Valentine's Day on Saturday evening, February 13th, at the Ambassadors Hall in Casino du Liban. She will also be heading to Egypt in the next few days to appear on the "Yamsaharni" show on Dream TV in a special tribute to her. The show will be aired during Valentine's week.

While songs from her album "Hodoudi el-Sama" are climbing high on the music charts in the Arab and Maghreb states, Carole's four-year-old song "Adwaa' el-Shuhra" is being revived in nightclubs in Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, and a number of Eastern European countries.

Carole also released "Layli Leil" with Mario Reyes of the Gypsy Kings. Sony Music in America bought the rights to distribute the song in India and parts of Asia.

Meanwhile, other artists are busy preparing for the February Nights music and poetry festival in Kuwait.

Fadl Shaker will sing a number of his new songs, as well as a patriotic song he will dedicate to Kuwait on its national day. Yara will also dedicate a patriotic song, titled "Ashek Watany", to Kuwait, which she will sing on the festival's fourth night, in addition to songs from her album "La'ale' Khalijiah".

Meanwhile, Wael Kfoury finished recording his song "Baz'al 'Alaik", with lyrics by Tarek Al-Zain and music by Adel Latif, and is preparing for his new album in which he will collaborate with Munir Abu Assaf, Hisham Boulos, Wissam el-Amir, Fares Eskandar, and Selim Salameh.
