Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad said "we don’t care" about deadlines to respond to a United Nations' offer of compromise on nuclear programmes, AP reported Tuesday (December 22nd). Speaking to thousands of supporters, Ahmedinejad claimed Iran is "10 times stronger" than a year ago. Iran wants talks "under just conditions where there is mutual respect". During an official visit to Lebanon, Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said Iran will continue its nuclear activity. "Concerning the fuel needed for the Tehran reactor, Iran will produce it on its own," AFP reported Monday.
