Saudi Arabia will not negotiate with Yemeni infiltrators who crossed into Saudi territory looking for a fight, said Prince Khaled bin Sultan, Saudi assistant minister of defence and aviation for military affairs. "We'll not negotiate with infiltrators and saboteurs," bin Sultan said. "We talk only to the Yemeni government."
In border fighting with the Yemeni rebels, 82 Saudi soldiers have been killed, 39 injured and 21 are still missing, Arab News reported Wednesday (January 13th). Saudi forces are deployed along the 480km border with Yemen, the prince said, and there is no hope for insurgents to slip back into Yemen unseen.
