Yemen's Houthi rebels were forced out of Saudi Arabian territory and did not withdraw voluntarily, said Prince Khalid bin Sultan, Saudi Arabia's deputy defence minister. The prince said the insurgents were forced out, leaving the kingdom with "a clear victory". Rebel leader Abdul-Malik Houthi said earlier in the week his forces were leaving the border area to spare Yemeni citizens from additional Saudi attacks. Prince Sultan said 109 Saudi soldiers were killed during the three months of skirmishes with the Houthis, Al Arabiya reported Thursday (January 28th).
