Indians dominate Dubai’s real estate market
Citizens of India purchased nearly one quarter of Dubai’s total real estate in 2009, Khaleej Times reported on Wednesday (February 3rd). Nationals from the United Kingdom and Pakistan ranked second and third, respectively. Dubai ranked first as the top Gulf destination to live, with more than 80 % of its population being foreign, according to a report issued by FutureBrand, a global consultancy. India has more nationals living in the UAE than any other country with a total of 1.8 million. Pakistan has 1.2 million nationals living in the UAE.
