Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki will join top defence officials at the Munich Security Conference, Reuters reported Friday (February 5th). Iran's addition came at the last minute, and it is not clear whether the delegation will participate in the entire three-day conference. Mottaki is scheduled for talks with Sweden's foreign minister as well as Russia's foreign minister during his stay.
Germany's foreign minister, Guido Westerwelle, accused Iran of stalling instead of taking action to meet international demands over its nuclear activity. "For the past two years, Iran has repeatedly bluffed and played tricks, playing for time," he said.
