Hans Blix to head UAE nuclear advisory board
Former IAEA chief Hans Blix will chair a board advising the UAE on its nuclear program, AFP reported Tuesday (February 23rd). Blix will head the nine-member International Advisory Board to provide guidance on nuclear issues. The board will meet twice per year. A consortium led by a South Korean firm won the $24 billion contract to build four nuclear power plants in the UAE.
