The Saudi port city of Jeddah will need more than one million homes in the next 20 years, Arab News reported Monday (March 1st). The figure was announced during the launch of the Jeddah Real Estate, Financing and Housing Exhibition that brings together property investors and developers in addition to public sector representatives. The housing projection for Jeddah reflects current housing shortages and future population growth coming from expatriate workers and rural migration into the city.
