Iran is beginning production on short-range cruise missiles that are not detected by radar, AP reported Sunday (March 7th). Defence Minister Ahmed Vahidi said that the new missiles would be able to decimate targets weighing up to 3,000 tons. They will initially be fired from the surface, but will eventually be fired from the air and the water. Iran's claims about the capacity of its weapons and military cannot be independently verified.
