Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's National Democratic Party (NDP) is denying charges that it made a deal to support opposition parties in the upcoming parliamentary elections in order to exclude Mohammed ElBaradei, Daily News Egypt reported Monday (March 15th). Media reports in Egypt claim that that the NDP is co-ordinating with the Al-Wafd party to eliminate some of the Muslim Brotherhood's parliamentary seats, promote seats for Al-Wafd and at the same time isolate ElBaradei, a possible opposition candidate in the 2011 presidential elections. "The NDP does not make any deals with opposition parties," NDP parliamentarian Mohamed Kwaiteh said.
As long as the ruling party is combating any other candidate for the presidency, then perhaps you should turn the rule into a dynasty and let it turn into inherited rule. At least we will be relieved of the hypocrisy of the government and the ruling party, claiming that we are a democratic state.

It is not out of the question to sign such an agreement, because the people would really like to see change. They are sick and tired of words and slogans and really want a comprehensive change in the regime. The appearance of any new figures, such as ElBaradei, will surely be dealt with severely, to keep him completely out of the elections arena, no matter what and at any cost.
