ElBaradei calls on Egyptians to join his movement
Mohammed ElBaradei, the former head of the IAEA issued a plea on his Facebook page for Egyptians to join his association for reform, BBC News reported Tuesday (March 30th). He used his video appeal to call for reforms in Egypt. It is an individual responsibility to bring about change, he said in a video clip. The BBC said the clip "was clearly designed to shake the Egyptian opposition out of its slumber." One activist who was running a Facebook group supporting ElBaradei was arrested, the network reported.
