A few hundred protestors gathered in front of Cairo’s high court to demand an end to police brutality and to call for reforming the constitution, news agencies reported on Tuesday (April 13th). An equal number of police stood by as the demonstrators waved Egyptian flags and chanted. The protestors came from different reform groups including the April 6th youth movement that grew on social networking sites and is now supporting the reform efforts of former IAEA chief Mohammed ElBaradei. "We’re sending a message that we’re not afraid of the police force and, we’ll keep coming out to call for change," said Ahmed Maher, a leader of the movement.
They have the right to do so.
