Two members of Ayman Nour's Ghad party were arrested in Egypt on Thursday (April 22nd) after they hung posters of three government critics, the Daily News Egypt reported. The arrests took place in the governorate of Beheira, said Ahmed Milad, a lawyer and head of the party's local branch. One man was released by police and one remains in custody, he said.
The activists were caught hanging posters of former IAEA chief Mohammed ElBaradei, Ayman Nour and leftist MP Hamdeen Sabbahi to encourage citizens to support reform, Milad added.
