Middle East must address gas-supply shortage – oil executive

Arab countries are home to 40% of the world's gas reserves while they experience supply shortages at home, Malcom Brinded, a senior manager at Royal Dutch Shell told an industry gathering in Kuwait on Monday (April 26th). Natural-gas consumption is growing in the Middle East and will be close to that of major European countries within five years, he said. In order to meet the growing demand, Arab countries will have to invest in their infrastructure and update technology.
