Yemen manufactures military equipment
Yemen produced 300 armoured vehicles for use by the military and special security forces, the Yemen Observer reported Wednesday June (9th).
"We managed to carry out great tasks during the last six months for providing our military establishment with advanced military equipment," President Ali Abdullah Saleh told graduates from the police academy in Dhamar.
If Yemen is able to fulfil its own military needs, it will facilitate the struggle against al-Qaeda, retired brigadier Ashwal al-Ashwal said.
