Egyptian opposition politician Ayman Nour has announced 11 conditions the government needs to meet for his Al Ghad Party to participate in the 2011 presidential elections, The Daily News Egypt reported Tuesday (August 10th).

The demands closely reflect those of leading reformer Mohammed ElBaradei and include the lifting of the decades-long martial law and election monitors stationed throughout the country during polling.

Nour asked for transparent vote counting and urged other political parties to support reform in the electoral arena.
