The Houthi rebels killed 23 soldiers in two attacks in Yemen's northern mountains, Al Arabiya reported Saturday (February 6th). The Houthis ambushed a military convoy transporting supplies and killed 15 soldiers. The insurgents also killed eight soldiers during clashes in the province of Saada. An anonymous Yemeni military source acknowledged the ambush but said the military had resisted and killed several rebel fighters.
