Oil traders stop doing business in Iran

The biggest oil trader in the world is cutting ties with Iran following reports that business is suffering as sanctions and international pressure increase, AFP reported Monday (March 8th). Vitol, along with oil conglomerates Glencore and Trafigura, have stopped providing oil to Tehran, the Financial Times reported Monday. The Swiss-based Trafigura has stopped supplying Iran because "they have concluded that there's too much political and financial risk," said an industry insider.
