An American-born member of Al-Qaeda captured last weekend in Karachi is not the group's spokesman Adam Gadahn, the Los Angeles Times reported Tuesday (March 9th). Gadahn, originally from California, converted to Islam as a teenager and later joined Al-Qaeda, emerging as the network's English-language spokesman and propagandist. Gadahn is wanted in the United States on charges of treason. Officials in Pakistan say the militant they captured is Abu Yahya Mujahideen al-Adam, born in Pennsylvania.
