Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri has pledged to "confront extremism" so all citizens can co-exist peacefully, NOW Lebanon reported Thursday (September 2nd).
"We have a responsibility to realise we cannot live without one another," Hariri said. "We must all confront extremism to ensure moderation. Lebanon cannot survive without Christians and Muslims, and we believe in coexistence."
The Prime Minister added that the government must "invest in security" and provide jobs for young people. He called on all political factions to create initiatives that foster Lebanon's short-term and long-term security.

What distinguishes the fanatic persons from those who are aware, is that the first group does not accept the other, while the second group refuses the other, invoking the flimsiest arguments. Everyone thinks that he or she has been authorized to defend a particular issue, but the method that he or she follows in defending it, is offensive to the issue itself. Some people here have repressed wishes and feelings of weakness which they try to release here, in a manner that provokes and offends others on the website, especially as they cannot control themselves when they respond.
